Leadership

Welcome

At the MCA, our staff, leaders, and Board are members of the communities we serve. We are a passionate and various group of individuals with varying backgrounds, interests, and life experiences, and those perspectives help to guide our work.

United past dearest for art and our vibrant creative community, our aim is to capture the spirit of access, inclusion, and equity in all we do.

Our main job as the MCA Leadership team is to work together towards the development and execution of the MCA Strategic Plan, a multi-yr project that is building new museum infrastructures through the lens of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (I.D.E.A.) and operational stability.

Through the Strategic Plan, we aim to match programming and resources with the priorities of our staff, artists, and public by establishing channels for dialogue and facilitating ongoing conversations on the urgent issues of our fourth dimension.

We are also securely invested in creating an surround of staff wellbeing and building infrastructures that offer staff support in and outside of the museum walls, and that prioritize career development at all levels of employment.

We admit that it takes work to grow, improve, and better our world, and that we cannot enact the goals of the Strategic Plan without care and without input from the people we serve.
